Today is celebrated by me trying something other than a Margherita at Cibo. Unfortunately, I forget what it is called. Grilled veggies with sundried tomato. Anyhow, I ate two slices of apple pie from there. Yum.

I tried Mingoy's apple pie as well last night. It was Alexis' birthday and we decided to go to the Fort to celebrate this unfortunate day. Two paellas, some meat stuff for everyone else, and tiramisu and pie afterwards. The pie was cold and too cinnamon-y. The paella was soft (pre-cooked rice?) but otherwise very flavorful. I dig Pinggoy's paella more! But it was great company, a great night. Alexis has inuman tonight but I am to pooped to go.

I am still reeling from Anilao actually. What fun it was! Great people crammed in two houses... I saw people I haven't seen in ages like Nicola, Buends, Carlo, Leo, even Poch! Wala lang. Crazy weekend with us Pinoys, a smattering of Koreans and a shitload of Frenchies! Haha. Mike was narrating with much feelings how this kalbo dude just came up to the radio, changed the sounds to French techno and started doing the robot in front of him. Hay!
